New Load Shedding Timetable Out By ECG

The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has released the official time table for the load shedding exercise across the country.

A new time table has become necessary following the intensification of the load shedding exercise, popularly known as ‘dumsor.’

According to the revised load-shedding program, households will be without power for 24 hours. ECG says households are expected to enjoy 12 hours of constant electricity supply under the new program that has been in operation for some time now. - While some areas go off, others have been put on stand-by "and may or may not go off, depending on the quantum of power to be shed." -
